It would be great if you could only have to ask your friends for help and not strangers. Somebody you would enjoy hanging around with would make a great tutor if the person really understood the subject. But that probably is not going to happen. No, you are going to have to check with someone who can steer you towards a person who can really help, but not bore you to death in the process. And actually the best place to ask about a tutor can be from the teacher of the class that is giving your problems or your counselor. Or in some cases the local colleges may have a few names, even the public library can be a good place to check.
They often may know about someone that already does online tutoring. A lot of times this can be a college student who is really good at the subject. And since he or she wasn’t in high school that long ago then the person will be able to relate to your problems. Of course you will have to ask your parents for help since tutors do charge. And they may have a few questions to ask to be sure the person is really able to help explain the subject. Then too you have to really feel confident this person is someone you will want to help.
It is not going to do any good if you get turned off by everything that he or she says. So in the process of talking to anyone that is located it will be a very important part of the whole process. And you may have a few questions of you own. But if the person is really good at the subject then it should be no problem for him or her to demonstrate it. If for any reason you just can’t cope with that person then it is time to look around some more choices until you find one you really feel is going to work.
